Tibetan Bowls

This was very cool to get the chance to do this.

I'm in the very back. I moved to the dark corner.
The first time Bill played the bowls, I saw bright lights. This was really weird because I was in the darkest corner of the room. It also felt like someone was pushing my shoulders, like they were trying to move me. I felt tingling all over my body. My shoulder blades felt like someone was pushing then together.

The second time he played I felt like someone was pushing my pressure point. Then it felt like they moved down to my wrist. Like the first time, I got tingles. But, this time I got it on my leg. It felt like someone was blowing on it. When my eyes were closed I saw all different colors. At one time a bunch of yellow lights came down from what felt like my forehead. They looked like they were stroking my face and grabbing it. The colors were all muddled together but at different times they became their own colors. The colors had turn a dark green then a light green. They got streaked with blue. It felt like the tingles went into me. The blowing on my leg got really hard at one point. It was like someone had put a leaf blower on my leg and refused to take it off. I felt like I could just sit up and leave my body and everything else behind. At one point, I felt like I was being pulled up by my wrists, like someone was trying to get me up and play with them. My wrists still feel a bit tingley.

When Bill had told us to sit up and he was showing us all of the different things to do with the bowls, my back got a little case of the tingles. When he told us to close our eyes and sit up while he was riveting (I think he said that was what it was called) my head felt like it was being pushed down and the colors came back. The yellow lights seemed angry (As angry Yellow lights can be) this time and my back felt like someone was slowing massaging my back and then like they were stabbing it.

This was really weird to do but I liked it. It never really hurt but when I felt like someone was stabbing my back it was weird. I want to do this again. I liked it.

Images of Singapore: Our field trip

Today our class went to the Images Of Singapore Museum. This was a very fun one,but not as fun as the water park!

We got to see a lot of things, like wax figures and props. The wax figures were very lifelike. My group all got scared of the wax figures at one time or another. Me,Amber,Alexa and Jade all posed as wax figures. I even scared someone who thought I was a wax figure selling fruit.

At the end of our wonderful field trip, we got to look through the gift and eat lunch. The gift shop had a bunch of cool things in it like rubber band shooting guns and funky glasses. I didn't buy anything.

Me,Alexa,Amber,Jade,Julia,Anushka,Noemi and Beatrice all played Duck Duck Goose. I stuck stickers on a bunch of people including myself. I stuck a HUGE dragon "tattoo" on my cheek. Then we went on the bus. Everyone was very tired from the field trip. I'm really surprised that I didn't fall asleep!

That concludes my adventure! I hope everyone had a really fun time because I know I did.

How to choose the right dog

I learned that there are a lot of different dog breeds. Dogs were first tamed over 15,000 years ago! I had never knew that. The internet helped me a lot as well as books did (Maybe even better!). I got to learn about my favorite animal EVER so that made this writing the best one yet.We had to do tons of research for this awesome informal piece so I hope you enjoy mine!
